Junior midfielder Caroline Kallos (Reading, Pa. | Governor Mifflin) registered 16 ground balls, 10 draw controls and seven caused turnovers in a pair of ORLC road wins last week for Washington & Jefferson College. Offensively, she added seven goals and an assist. In Friday’s 12-7 victory at Hanover College, she posted a career-high 12 ground balls and tied her career high with five caused turnovers, plus matched her season best with six draw controls to go along with five goals. Also against Hanover, she became W&J's career leader in ground balls. In Saturday’s 14-3 win at Thomas More College, she posted three points (2 goals, 1 assist), picked up four ground balls and added four draw controls plus a pair of caused turnovers.
W&J (6-4, 5-0) will head to Saint Vincent College (7-3, 3-1) Wednesday before hosting Franklin College Saturday (5-2, 3-0) and Mount St. Joseph University (2-7, 2-2) Sunday.
